Assists, never replaces

An AI writing assistant that has actually read your manuscript.

A general chatbot gives you writing advice. Noveler gives you advice about your story — because it reads your chapters, your characters, and your notes before it answers.

Everything the assistant writes appears in gold — so you always know which words are yours.

Accept it, regenerate it, or throw it away. Nothing enters your draft uninvited.

Different work needs different help

Poets do not need a plot generator and screenwriters do not need rhyme suggestions. Each project type gets its own eight actions, run on a selection or the whole document, with an optional note about what you are after.

Manuscript AI: ask about the story itself

The assistant edits text in place. Manuscript AI is a conversation about the work as a whole — where a subplot should go, why a character reads flat, what you left unresolved in chapter four. Scope a question to the manuscript, characters, timeline, or themes, switch projects mid-conversation, and pick threads back up later because chats are saved.

Common questions

Does the AI write my book for me?

No, and that is deliberate. Every action runs only when you trigger it, on the selection or document you choose, and the result appears in gold for you to accept, regenerate, or discard. Nothing is inserted into your manuscript without your say.

How does it know about my characters?

Manuscript AI reads the chapters, character profiles, and notes stored in that project before it composes an answer. That is why it can name your characters and reference your unresolved threads instead of returning generic writing advice.

Is my writing used to train an AI model?

No. Text is sent to an AI provider only when you actively run an action or send a chat message, and it is used to produce your result — not to train a model. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Do the AI actions work offline?

No. AI actions and Manuscript AI chat call a model over the network, so they need a connection. The editor, outline, characters, pin board, and export all work fully offline.

How many AI prompts do I get?

The free plan includes 10 AI prompts a month. Muse AI raises that allowance to 150 or 300 a month depending on the tier, billed through Google Play.
